UM-FASS WRITING CENTRE SERVICES: FULLY-FUNDED PROOFREADING SERVICE FOR FASS ACADEMIC STAFF
Dear Esteemed Faculty Members,
While good language is not a guarantee of manuscript acceptance, it certainly plays an important role. To this end, the Research and Innovation Office, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya, is pleased to announce a proofreading services to academic staff with complete manuscripts (article/chapter in book) almost ready for submission to WOS/SCOPUS journals or MAPIM/Master Book List Publishers.
Proofreading services will cover the abstract, main text and text-based (not references) footnotes/endnotes only, if any. They will include line editing of typographical errors including spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and minor edits for general readability.
Academic staff will submit their manuscripts for proofreading by completing the google form (QR Code) and upload the manuscript (in Word format) into the form. (Please also include proof of submission of your previously proofread article if you have used this service before.) The Faculty will fund up to a maximum of 60 slots per year, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
